It’s only been a few months since Ash… or Koieta… has started exploring worldwide! She’s not gotten too far from home out of fear of being too far away to potentially run back home if needed, but also due to enjoying her time exploring within Moonhelm! Had she been to Moonhelm multiple times before? Well… kind of, but that was mostly for one or two days every great while… this was the first time she got to absorb the city for what it was!
The stores, the people, even the taverns! She hated the drinks they served, and refused actually to drink any… but the shows, the music, the atmosphere was… perfect!!!
One night she found herself a bit more confident than usual… no particular reason why, but maybe she had finally embarrassed Ash and was comfortable in her skin… well, her own skin? Kinda… that sounds weird, right?
Regardless, she felt confident… like she could take on the world and no one could stop her!
“Ooooo, maybe it’s time for my bad bitch villain arc.”
She joked to herself.
Regardless, she found herself back in one of the Invite-only taverns in town (got to love having friends in low places… or using magic to get people to be your friend!)
She sat back, listening to the music, watching the crowd, and just enjoying her time… but she paused.
“I’m like… way better than the current musicians playing now! What if…. I just…”
And without thinking about any repercussions, consequences, or the intelligent thing to do, she hopped up and started walking toward the stage.
As she got closer, one security staff stopped her, but she just smiled and plucked her violin while saying.
“Oh, come on, you don’t recognize me? I’m the next act, dummy!”
Was she? Well, no, but charm person and a wonderful personality mean she was!
The guard smiled and laughed before letting Ash pash.
She waited impatiently for the music to finish before hopping up on the stage to the confusion of the performers.
But they just shrugged and gave the stage to her, thinking it was all part of the show.
She smiled and nodded to the other performers; her witch style had dipped below before she caught it and affixed it to its normal position.
“Alright, Ladies and Gentlemen, Enby’s of all ages! Now that the opening act has finally come to a close… who’s ready for something a bit more…”
As she trailed off, she plucked her violin string, using a mixture of illusion and mage hand to cut the lights, leaving only one spotlight on her.
“Flashy! My name is Ash the Witch of Chaos, and trust me… you’re in for a treat!”
She said with a big smirk finishing her thought, using illusion to have some smoke roll off the stage before shifting the colors of the light to a more light blue As she began to play. Using her violin to not only play the song but cast a multitude of illusions to make the sounds of the instruments that were needed.

As she played through the song, she would flash the lights according to the beat. Fully embracing the show, tilting the amplifying rocky tocky used as a mic, and as the song continued, just stepping off the stage, moving through the tavern with winks, smiles, and laughter as she continued to play the song while interacting with the audience.
She was in her element, this wasn’t just Ash, it was Koieta just enjoying the show… performing to her heart’s content… it was her being her true self but still being anonymous… for all they knew, she was just Ash, the Chaos Witch!
As the song came to a close, she just smiled and took a seat back where she had walked up from… trying to be just… so nonchalant!
Now, of course, the security guard eventually realized that he had been charmed, but… seeing that the crowd was happy, and more importantly, his boss was happy, he just laughed it off.
In fact, that guard (Frankie) and Ash are great friends now! She was invited back to perform again any time she wanted, under the promise that she didn’t charm any more staff members.
This was one of the first times Koieta truly embarrassed the image she had for Ash, going all out on the bad bitch, doesn’t take no for an answer persona she had envisioned.
